UNIT DESCRIPTION
This unit specifies the competencies required to provide pastoral care. It involves provision of spiritual support, maintenance of worship space and networking with religious community. It also includes performing religious rituals.

1 Provide spiritual support | 1.1 Client in need of spiritual support is identified determined based on needs assessment 1.2 Spiritual needs are classified based on spiritual support requirements 1.3 Provision for spiritual support is undertaken according to means of grace 1.4 Intercessory prayer is offered based on identified clients’ need. |
